Kawari is a Chrome extension that helps you triage your Gmail inbox using AI. This policy explains what data is accessed, how it is used, and what is never stored.
When you click "Triage Inbox", Kawari reads a limited set of metadata from your most recent unread emails via the Gmail API:
When you click "Generate Reply", Kawari additionally reads the body text of that specific email to generate a draft response.
Email metadata and body text are sent to a Cloudflare Worker, which forwards them to the Groq AI API to generate classifications and draft replies. This processing happens in real time — your email content is used only to produce the AI response for that session.
Kawari uses the following third-party services to function:
Kawari requests the following Chrome permissions:
Kawari retains no user data. There is no account, no profile, and no persistent storage of any kind. Each triage session starts fresh.
Kawari is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
